Château de Grandson: under construction until 2026!

 

The castle is under heritage renovation ! A new museum, redesigned exhibition and reception areas await you in 2026.

 

The site will remain open during the works:

  • Visit the interior of the castle only on public guided tours
  • Discover the scope of the works with site visits

 

Guided visits departure (Every day except Tuesday) :

  • 13:15
  • 14:30
  • 15:45
  • 17:00

 

Please note :

  • 🔺 The monument is only accessible during guided tours for safety reasons related to the restorations. You cannot therefore visit it on your own!
  • The car museum is definitively closed since 2016
  • Weapons and armour collections are not visible during the renovation period.

Grandson Castle is currently undergoing a major heritage restoration. Guided tours take you behind the scenes of the construction site. As work areas are rarely open to the public, take this opportunity to observe the work being carried out and discover the scale of the project!
