My house of earth, wood and straw
In the Middle Ages, rural villages were often built of earth and wood. Put your hands to the earth and straw to make cob, a traditional building technique, and build a wall section on a wooden structure. We recommend that you wear clothes that can get dirty for this activity (although soil can be washed very well)..
😀 Recommended age: from 8 years old
⏳ Duration: 1h45
Should you also wish to visit the château before or after your activity, we would like to inform you that from June onwards, the Castle can only be visited during a guided tour of the site, or a storytelling walk lasting around an hour. This represents a unique opportunity to visit a historic monument during its restoration process. In this case, a reservation is also required.
