Medieval Festival

Organized by the Association des Amis du Château de Grandson (AACG), the Medieval Festival takes place every year in mid-August. For a weekend, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Middle Ages and let yourself be carried away by jugglers, musicians, dancers or browse the craftsmen’s market to discover the trades of stone, leather, wood and iron. Swiss Castle Day

Each year, the Swiss Castle Association invites its members to create activities and animations around a common theme. The result is to be discovered on the first Sunday of October in 28 Swiss castles. The theme for 2022: EAT! ESSEN ! MANGIARE ! In 2023, the theme will be Legendary and Fantastic beasts.

Halloween

Whether it’s with scary tales or adventures filled with witches, mummies and vampires, children can celebrate Halloween every year at Grandson Castle.

Christmas market

During the Grandson Christmas Market, winter tales and walks are offered to the whole family.

Pâkomuzé

This is the cultural event not to be missed during the Easter vacations! For two weeks, many family activities are to be discovered within the walls of the castle of Grandson: egg hunts, spring crafts, educational workshops and chocolate surprises. The 2023 program is in preparation. 🙂
